Along with many other Bollywood celebrities, Akshay Kumar has been in the forefront when it comes to supporting and helping people in times of Coronavirus pandemic. The actor has yet again extended his help towards the Mumbai Police, who are at the forefront of the fight against the pandemic.

The actor recently donated about 1000 wrist bands to Mumbai Police to help detect COVID-19 symptoms. In fact, the Mumbai Police will be the first organisation in the world enabled to remotely track and manage the health of its personnel with the preventive health platform.

Akshay Kumar was the first Bollywood actor who came forward and gave a generous donation of Rs 25 crore to PM care fun for fighting the virus. The actor has been actively involved with the BMC and helping them in the fight against COVID-19, also lauding them for their work, along with all the frontline workers. The actor paid a tribute to the soldiers in white (doctors, nurses and medical staff) as well with ‘Teri Mitti – Tribute’ recently.

Meanwhile, he has been self-quarantined with his family at home where he seems to have been making the most of his free time by spending quality time with his loved ones. He is also often seen entertaining and entertaining his fans through his social media handles.

On the work front, Akshay has some pretty interesting projects in his pipeline which includes, ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ and ‘Bell Bottom’.
