According to reports, the extravagant sets that remained unutilised all through the lockdown will soon be dismantled over the next few days owing to the onset of the monsoon. The set with boasts of 12th-century architectural designs will be dismantled as the makers don’t think it will be feasible with the monsoon set to arrive in the coming weeks.
Akshay reportedly shot some crucial scenes on the Dahisar sets but had to halt work owing to the lockdown. Reportedly, he still has portions that remain to be completed. That’s not all, an elaborate arena that was created at the studios to shoot a war sequence also stands to be razed.
Once the lockdown is lifted and shooting schedules are allowed to resume, the team is expected to continue their shoot in an indoor location.
Apart from this Akshay starrer, the sets of Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has also been demolished to prevent losses during the lockdown. Reports also claimed that Kangana Ranaut’s Parliament sets for ‘Thalaivi’ also stands to be dismantled with the remaining portions of the films now set to be shot indoors.
