Mommy-to-be Anushka Sharma turned cover-girl for Filmfare magazine’s October edition that honours and recognises Bollywood’s ‘heroines who make a difference’.

Looking gorgeous on the monochrome cover, the actress rocked a sequin ensemble with captivating eye-makeup and topped the look off with messy waves. Anushka took her place among fellow B-town stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu and many others who have grown out of their hero’s shadow to bask in their own light.

The stars have been honoured not just for their contributions to their craft, but have also been recognised for their personal achievements, grit, strength and sheer determination to bring about ‘change’. Whether it is demanding equal pay or speaking up for the rights of less fortunate, supporting various causes and being a force to reckon with.

On the personal front, Anushka is awaiting the arrival of her first child with cricketer hubby Virat Kohli. Although she has not announced her next big Bollywood project, the actress has been making headlines for producing an impressive lineup of films.
