Robert Downey Jr, who is popularly known for essaying the character of Tony Stark aka Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recalled playing the iconic role on the silver screen in a recent interview.

Downey’s character Iron Man which bid goodbye to the MCU in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ left the audience shocked. The actor, who played the role for nearly a decade called it a satisfying experience. Furthermore, he also added that he gave what he and now he looks forward to what’s next.

Robert Downey Jr, who made his acting debut as a child artist in his father’s film ‘Pound’ in 1970 has gone on to bag several prestigious awards. Not only that but the 55-year-old actor has delivered several blockbusters and also enjoys a huge fan following on social media.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Downey Jr. will be seen reprising his popular character of Iron Man in Cate Shortland directorial ‘Black Widow’ which stars Scarlett Johansson in the lead role. The film has been rescheduled to release on 7th May 7, 2021, due to the pandemic.
