From BTS unveiling the new teaser of ‘Butter’ to Priyanka Chopra raking in big money for her COVID-relief donation drive to major updates from team ‘Tiger 3‘, here’s all the latest updates from the world of entertainment. ETimes brings a new segment Bolly Buzz which goes beyond the usual mix of news and gossip to give all its readers a roundup of trending stories of the day.

After lighting things up like dynamite, BTS are channelling a little funk, soul and rock and roll for their next big hit in the making – ‘Butter’. The boys dropped the first teaser of the song late last night and it is proving to have all the potential to be our new summer soundtrack. The teaser didn’t just get ARMY trying out their leather jackets but even had Rock legends, Queen, bobbing their heads to the funky beats. That’s not all… Indian musician Armaan Malik also hopped on board the hype wagon and shared his excitement saying, “Damn full old-school vibes! Loved this teaser and love that it’s in B&W (black and white)”

Mithun Chakraborty’s ‘Disco Dancer’ is all set to be made into a play. The musical will be produced by music director duo Salim-Sulaiman. B Subhash, when contacted, confirmed the same and added, “I have given the screenplay rights of the film to Salim-Sulaiman and they are collaborating with Sa Re Ga Ma on it.”

Priyanka Chopra was happy to announce today that she has collected over $3 million for her covid-relief donation drive. She shared that with the funds collected, they were able to procure 500 oxygen concentrators, 422 oxygen cylinders and even manpower for 10 vaccination centres, which would help over 6000 people to get vaccinated over the next two months.

Khushi Kapoor was out on a stroll with her little pooch. While we did get back a click of the two, it was Khushi’s phone wallpaper that had all our attention. It was hard to miss the cute childhood picture of the star-kid sitting on her late mommy Sridevi’s shoulders.

Cyclone Tauktae has left B-town, but not without leaving behind a trail of damage. The sets of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Tiger 3’ witnessed some destruction over the past two days. On a set not too far away, Sanjay Leela Bhansali could breathe easy as the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ set incurred minimum or no damage despite the heavy rains and strong wind.
