From Shakti Kapoor addressing Shraddha Kapoor and Rohan Shreshta’s wedding to Saif Ali Khan revealing Kareena Kapoor Khan’s due date, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif fuelling those romance rumours, here’s what made headlines today. ETimes brings a new segment Bolly Buzz which goes beyond the usual mix of news and gossip to give all its readers a roundup of trending stories of the day.

Congratulations are in order for singer Shilpa Rao who got hitched to her boyfriend Ritesh Krishnan. The duo tied the knot in a quiet ceremony at her home in the presence of their families with close friends joining in via video call. Speaking about her wedding, Shilpa told BT, “We kept it simple, decorated the house with flowers and my brother’s wife did my Mehendi. We formally registered the wedding at around 5 pm, and all my friends and family members from across the world joined in on a video call to see the ceremony.”

After Shraddha and Rohan’s wedding rumours started circulating, her father Shakti Kapoor has now reacted to it. In an exclusive interaction with ETimes, the veteran actor said, “Why only Rohan Shrestha? I will have no objection to whoever she wants to marry.” He further added, “ Shraddha hasn’t told me that she plans to marry him. To me, they are still just childhood friends.. I do not know if they are serious about each other.”

Katrina gave everyone reason to believe that her latest selfie was clicked in the arms of her rumoured beau Vicky. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot that the tee on which Katrina lay also happened to be similar to the one Vicky once owned. Their fans are all excited and they have been sharing cute pictures of the couple on social media.

Saif has revealed Kareena’s due date and the little one is set to arrive this February! “Kareena and I have been so calm in the last few months that it seems like the news has not yet sunk in,” said the doting dad who couldn’t contain his excitement on having little kids running around the house.

The long wait for movies has got messier it seems as producers and filmmakers can’t quite decide if they should or shouldn’t clash. With only so many holiday weekends available and tempers running high, it sure seems like war will be declared at the box office unless of course someone bows out. From Ajay Devgn going up against himself with ‘Maidaan’ and ‘RRR’, Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ going up against John Abraham’s ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’, and many more films lining up for their releases.
