WWE wrestler turned Hollywood star John Cena joined the multitude of fans paying tribute to late Bollywood icons – Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor.

Taking to his Instagram handle, John shared a stock image of Rishi and a still of Irrfan from ‘Life of Pi’. He, however, did not post a caption with the images.

John became the latest to join the list of Hollywood actors including Natalie Portman, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Chris Pratt, director Ang Lee among others paying tribute to the Bollywood film legends, who passed away last week.

Irrfan succumbed to colon infection and breathed his last at a city hospital on Wednesday, April 29, while Rishi lost his battle with cancer and passed away on April 30.

Fans quickly flooded Cena’s comments section with heart-broken emojis, apart from also writing, “Legends never truly die.”

Interestingly enough, another fan asked, “Do you watch Bollywood movies?”

In the past, the Hollywood star shared quite a few photos of Bollywood stars including that of Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Sigh, Aamir Khan, Kapil Sharma, among others.

John last lent his voice to the film ‘Dolittle’, co-starring Robert Downey Jr.
