Raj Mehta’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’, which went on floors last year, came to a halt when several members of the team tested positive for COVID-19. However, they soon resumed the shoot and completed its first schedule.

Now, according to a report in Filmfare, the film will go on floors again in the last week of April after Varun Dhawan finishes the shooting of ‘Bhediya’ in Arunachal Pradesh. The location of the shoot is still being decided as they are contemplating going to Punjab again or not during the pandemic.

The film marks the return of Neetu Kapoor into films after the sudden demise of her husband Rishi Kapoor last year. It also features Anil Kapoor in the lead role.

The film is reportedly a tale of two couples from different generations, entangled around the issues post marriage. The premise beautifully merges the generation gap, and puts out a unique point of about love, but with ample of humour.

Varun and Kiara were seen sharing a brief screen time in ‘Kalank’ where they couple impressed their fans with their sizzling chemistry.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun has films like, ‘Bhediya’, ‘Sanki’, and ‘Ekkis’ in his pipeline. Kiara, on the other hand, has ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘Shershaah’ in her kitty.
