Bollywood and Marathi cinema‘s popular actor-director has filed complained against an unknown man at Dadar Police station about receiving messages demanding Rs 35 crore.

Reportedly, the man claiming to be a member of Abu Salem‘s gang had messaged the ‘Dabangg’ star demanding Rs 35 crore. While speaking exclusively with Etimes, Mahesh Manjrekar said ” I got a message on August 25th demanding Rs 35 crore. So, I had filed a complained against this at Dadar police station. Now, the officials have arrested the culprit”

However, the police had registered a case and then transferred to the Anti-Extortion Cell for further investigation.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Mayesh Manjrekar will be next seen in Sachin Kundalkar’s ‘Pondicherry’. It also feautres stars like Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Sai Tamhankar, Amruta Khanvilkar, and Neena Kulkarni in key roles.
