Owing to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown, makers of many Bollywood films stalled the shooting of their films and postponed releases indefinitely. However, some chose to go digital and released their films on OTT platforms.
Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah recently opened up about the new trend to a news portal. The actor reportedly said that he wants to see people’s reactions to a Salman Khan movie when it is released on OTT. According to him, he doubts if the audience will whistle, clap and throw coins at the screen and dance in the aisles. He feels that people won’t behave in the same manner at home with their family around.

Naseeruddin Shah also went on to add that the lockdown has inspired many young filmmakers to attempt interesting, novel subjects without worrying about a producer sitting on their heads asking ‘hero kaun hai’ or ‘gaana daal do’. He added that he is optimistic about the future and really glad that the monstrous Rs 500 crore budget might be a thing of the past.

On the work front, Naseeruddin Shah is currently busy with his web series. Salman, on the other hand, will next be seen in ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. The movie also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in key roles.

Apart from this, he also has ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ and ‘Kick 2’ in the pipeline.
