The actor-turned-cricketer also said that he wished the lockdown wouldn’t have been there, at least then he would have been able to fulfill the promise he made to him.
Talking about his memories with the late actor on the sets of the film, he reportedly said that he was 15 then and he shot with him for six months. Sushant would ask him to come to his room after the shoot got over, and train him with scenes and camera angles. He added that Sushant was also very involved, friendly, and very passionate about his work. According to him, even though he was such a big name, he would ask Digvijay about cricket since he was already a professional cricketer then.
Sushant committed suicide by hanging himself in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. There was no suicide note found in his apartment. However, the post-mortem report confirmed that the actor died due to suicide.
