In a throwback interview with Simi Garewal on her chat show, Madhuri had revealed that she enjoyed being a housewife for some time. She also added that she used to get up early in the morning and cook breakfast for Shriram when he was in cardiovascular surgery. After he went to work, she would go back to sleep for some time again. According to her, she savoured every minute of it.
Madhuri reportedly met Dr Nene in the US and went for a mountain bike ride during their first meeting. As Dr Nene had neither seen much of her work nor did he recognise any Bollywood celebrities at their wedding, except Amitabh Bachchan, mother-in-law tried to get him to watch some of her films, but in vain.
She also revealed what made her fall in love with him. According to her, you always find some similarities when you meet a partner. What he found about her was that she would go out of her way to do something.
The beautiful couple is today proud parents to two sons – Arin and Ryan.
