“We were filming in Piravom. The movie mostly has action sequences. Tovino Thomas got the injury 3-4 days back at his belly area. Today morning we shifted him to the hospital after developing an unbearable pain,” the manager said.
Upon reaching the hospital, the doctors found out internal bleeding and hence shifted him to the intensive care unit. The manager further revealed, “Initially we all thought that it was a small injury, but yesterday Tovino felt the pain that got worsened today. The doctors said that he has an internal injury and thus requires more care.”
Meanwhile, ‘Kala’ is an upcoming Malayalam movie directed by Rohit VS. Speaking to us earlier the director shared that the movie has a man vs wild theme. Tovino Thomas is playing the lead character and actors Lal, Divya Pillai and Sumesh Moor have roped in to play some pivotal characters. ‘Kala’ is produced by Siju Mathew under the banner of Adventure Company In Association. Tovino Thomas has roped in as one of the co-producers for ‘Kala’.
Tovino Thomas is one of the most bankable actors in Malayalam cinema. He is best known for his performances in ‘ABCD’, ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’, ‘Godha’, ‘Mayanadhi’ and ‘Virus’ among others. Tovino Thomas’ recent theatrical release was ‘Forensic’, an investigation thriller, wherein he essayed the role of a forensic expert.
